Disktrasa is Swedish for sponge cloth. Invented by engineer Curt Lindqvist in Sweden as early as 1949, our disktrasa is made of 100% biodegradable material – cellulose from FCS-labelled forest and cotton. Use it in place of a paper towel, sponge or kitchen towel. Wash it in the washing machine, dishwasher, or boil and reuse it a limitless number of times. The inks used to print the design are water-based and eco-friendly. When the design fades to too much for you, add it to your compost, where it decomposes in 6–8 weeks.
